Prenatal to Age 5…And Beyond.
At Future Ready Columbus, our role is to serve as the backbone entity to organize, align, and mobilize a variety of stakeholders and providers to create collective impact that benefits children, families, and ultimately, entire communities.
But we’re not alone.
It’s more than just all of us here at Future Ready Columbus.
It’s our board.
It’s our sponsors and partners.
It’s early-learning educators.
It’s other nonprofit organizations.
It’s libraries and museums.
It’s churches and community centers.
Our Goal: 100% of Franklin County children will demonstrate readiness for kindergarten by 2030.
To achieve this goal, we must start before preschool. Even before birth.
We must look at the whole child, the whole family, and the whole community.
We must fix shortages and unequal distribution of quality early-learning opportunities for children.
Improve the access and effectiveness of training available to teachers.
Increase the education and resources available to parents.
Raise awareness of the crucial role early-childhood mental, physical, and emotional health plays in the future success of our childrenof
