ROLE AT FUTURE READY COLUMBUS:
Marguerethe is the director of K-12 initiatives for Future Ready Columbus. Her role includes facilitating equity-centered communities of practice focused on continuous improvement and collective impact.
BEFORE JOINING FUTURE READY:
Previously, Marguerethe worked at Columbus City Schools partnering with local universities to successfully recruit, prepare, and retain highly effective urban teachers. Marguerethe is a training associate for Cognitive CoachingSM and Adaptive Schools® and has almost 30 years of experience working in urban schools as a classroom teacher, coach, curriculum coordinator, and staff development specialist.
As a coach and facilitator, Marguerethe has supported individuals and communities to work thoughtfully in the presence of difference by focusing on the intersections of cultural responsiveness, equity, collaboration, and coaching. She is the president and co-founder of a local non-profit, Developmental Assets Resource Network.
